Guided by the visionof “building an ecosystem rooted in coexistenceand integration with society, the environment, andour partners,” Ronbay Technology has put forwardthe strategy of “Comprehensive Solution Providerfor the Cathode Materials Industry.” By expandingits global market presence, enhancing investmentand M&A capabilities, and forming innovationalliances, Ronbay is committed to becoming anadvocate and practitioner of ESG. Together with awide range of stakeholders, the company aims toco-create a sustainable development ecosystem.In response to the steadily growing marketdemand, Ronbay Technology remains committedto its original mission “developing the new energyindustry, improving the living environment ofhumankind, creating a better future for the companyand its employees, and giving back to society.” In2024, the company achieved a year-on-year salesincrease of over 20% in ternary cathode materials,far exceeding the industry's growth rate, defyingindustry headwinds and maintaining the No.1global market share in ternary materials for thefourth consecutive year. We continued to increaseinvestment in R&D to strengthen our technologicalleadership in high-nickel and ultra-high-nickelmaterials, with our intermittent process technologyreaching an industry-leading level. At the sametime, we made breakthroughs in the industrializationof lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) andsodium-ion battery materials, with LMFP productsales doubling year-on-year.

In 2024, Ronbay Technology continued to advanceits digital and ecological strategies. We regardintelligent manufacturing as a core competitiveadvantage in the new energy materials industry,and have steadily upgraded our automatedand unmanned production lines to optimizemanufacturing costs and deliver more competitiveproducts to global customers. At the same time,by offering higher-performance products with alower carbon footprint, we are driving the transitionof the new energy industry toward an ecosystemthat emphasizes efficient resource utilization. Ourgoal is to build a circular supply chain systemthat integrates both cost competitiveness andlow-carbon attributes. During the year, our majorproduction bases in Hubei and Guizhou wereselected as national-level Green Factories, markinga new stage in the company’s journey toward high-e?ciency, green, and low-carbon development.Ronbay Technology has incorporated the ESGconcept into its New Integration Strategy, furtherstreamlining the organizational structure andestablishing a flat three-tier structure from thechairman to the future strategy o?ce, and then toour various entity enterprises. At the same time,we will establish partner enterprises globally andimplement equity incentives to attract core talents tojointly promote the strategy and achieve co-creationand sharing. In 2024, the company announcedthe normalization of “annual work” and “EagleAction”, incorporating them into the daily operationmechanism to enhance corporate efficiency andstrengthen strategic execution.
We firmly believe that achieving sustainabledevelopment requires the joint efforts of globalpartners. In 2024, thecompany added institutional documents such as the Product Carbon Footprint Management Procedure andProduct Carbon Footprint Operation Specication, forming a governance model covering strategic planning,standard construction, and execution supervision. Following the first carbon footprint accounting work forits major products in 2023, the company completed carbon footprint calculations for 21 products across 5production bases in 2024 (10 of which were veried by a third party). At the subsidiary level, managementprocedures such as the Management Procedure of Water Pollution Control and the Management Procedureof Environmental Protection Facilities have been established, clearly regulating the generation and controlof wastewater in the production processes of each factory area. The company’s wastewater mainly consistsof domestic sewage and production wastewater, both of which undergo preliminary treatment to meet theacceptance standards before being connected to the pipe network for unied treatment and discharge aftermeeting the standards. Additionally, the company recycles and reuses wastewater through the construction ofwastewater treatment stations and ammonia distillation towers, further reducing the discharge of pollutants.In 2024, Ningbo Ronbay, Hubei Ronbay, Guizhou Ronbay, and Xiantao Ronbay installed online monitoringdevices for production wastewater in accordance with relevant management regulations. For substances such as dust, sulfuric acid mist, ammonia, and hydrogenchloride generated during the production process, the company utilizes waste gas treatment facilitiesincluding high-temperature low-carbon burners, bag lters, spray towers, and activated carbon adsorptiondevices to ensure emissions meet standards. The British Standards Institution is independent of Ningbo Ronbay New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (including itssubsidiaries, hereinafter referred to as "RONBAY TECHNOLOGY") , and its subsidiaries (hereafter referred to as“Ronbay Technology” collectively in this statement), and has no financial interest in the operation of Ningbo RonbayNew Energy Technology Co., Ltd. other than for the assessment and assurance of RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’s 2024Environmental, Social and Governance Report (the “ESG Report”).
This independent assurance opinion statement is prepared on the basis of review by the British StandardsInstitution of 2024 “ESG Report” presented by "RONBAY TECHNOLOGY". The review does not extend beyond suchinformation and is solely based on it. In performing such review, the British Standards Institution has assumed thatall such information is complete and adequate.
Scope & CriteriaThe scope of engagement agreed upon with “RONBAY TECHNOLOGY” includes the following:
1. The assurance scope is consistent with the description of Ningbo Ronbay New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. 2024
“ESG Report”.2. This report was prepared in accordance with the “Guidelines No. 14 of Shanghai Stock Exchange for Self-Regulation of Listed Companies—Sustainability Report (Trial)” issued by the Shanghai Stock Exchange,and referenced the “Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Standards “(2021 Edition).3. Type 2 Moderate Assurance Level
In line with the AccountAbility Sustainability Assurance Standard (AA1000AS), this assessment examines
the nature and extent to which “RONBAY TECHNOLOGY” adheres to the four principles of
accountability: Inclusivity, Materiality, Responsiveness, and Impact. It does not involve an assurance on the
reliability of specific sustainability performance data.
Opinion StatementWe conclude that RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’s 2024 ESG Report objecitvely and fairly presents the organization’senvironmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance during the reporting period.Based on the assurance procedures described in this report, we have not identified:
-Any materiality misrepresentation or omission in the ESG data and information provided by “RONBAYTECHNOLOGY”.-Any unresolved issues related to the AccountAbility AA1000AS principles of Inclusivity, Materiality,Responsiveness, and Impact.

Through review of documentationand data collected during planning and fieldwork, we confirm that RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’s claim ofcompliance with:
The Guidelines No. 14 of Shanghai Stock Exchange for Self-Regulation of Listed Companies—Sustainability Report (Trial), and refer to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability ReportingStandards (2021 Edition) is a fair and accurate representation.
MethodologyOur work was designed to gather evidence on which to base our conclusion. We undertook the followingacitvities:
? Conducted interviews with RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’s senior management to validatethe appropriateness of materiality topics in the ESG Report, particularly those raised by externalstakeholders regarding RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’s sustainability performance.? Discussed with RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’s senior management the methods for stakeholder
engagement (note: no direct contact with external stakeholders was made as part of this assurance).? Interview with staff involved in sustainability management, report preparation and provision of reportinformation.? Review of key organizational developments.? Review of supporting evidence for claims made in the Report.? An assessment of the RONBAY TECHNOLOGY’ reporting and management processes concerningreporting against the principles of Inclusivity, Materiality, Responsiveness and Impact as described in theAA1000 Assurance Standard.
Conclusions
We have conducted the review of the AA1000AS v3 standards for the verification of sustainability reportsregarding the principles of inclusiveness, substance, responsiveness and impact, as well as the verification of the"Guidelines No. 14 of Shanghai Stock Exchange for Self-Regulation of Listed Companies—Sustainability Report(Trial) issued by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SHSE)" as follows:
Based on the verification results, we have not identified:
-Any materiality misrepresentation or omission in the ESG data and information provided by “RONBAYTECHNOLOGY”;
-Any unresolved issues related to the AccountAbility AA1000AS principles of Inclusivity, Materiality,Responsiveness, and Impact.We confirm that the contents related to social responsibility and sustainable development in the "ESGReport" are disclosed in accordance with the requirements of " Guidelines No. 14 of Shanghai StockExchange for Self-Regulation of Listed Companies—Sustainability Report (Trial)".From our professional perspective, this "ESG Report" includes the social responsibility and sustainabledevelopment affairs of "RONBAY TECHNOLOGY". The suggestions for improvement of the report havebeen adopted by "RONBAY TECHNOLOGY " before issuing this statement of improvement opinions.
